Reflexology Treatments
| What
is reflexology
you may be asking yourself, well
let me explain
it
is a complementary therapy which is the reflection of the organs,
glands and other body parts in miniature on the hands and feet.
They are mapped out in the same arrangement as the body with
the spine being the outer edge of the foot or hand. Reflexology
carries many beliefs on how it works, which, one of those beliefs
is that energy (chi) flows through these zones and can be blocked
by stress, disease or illness. By using gentle massage to the
blocked zones they, in time, can be cleared, helping the return
of well being or better health. |

How
can it help me
A Reflexology session is extremely
relaxing and stimulating. Since the feet and/or hands are the only
areas being addressed, there is never any need for removal of clothing.
The client is always made comfortable. A session is booked for about
1 hour, the therapy taking about 40 minutes of this. It can be used
to balance emotions, restore circulation throughout the physical
body, and increase spiritual awareness. While increasing circulation
in the brain, it can improve concentration.
My
name is Caryn Conacher and I am fully qualified to practice reflexology.
I am fully insured and I am a member of the CThA (Complementary Therapist Association).
